ALTRA Running, is known for comfort and functionality, and we now announce the launch of the ALTRAFWD Experience, our first shoe with an offset between heel and toe (drop).

The intent is to provide a route for runners new to the brand to "transition" from shoes with a heel to toe drop to use the 4mm drop as a starting point for their first taste of ALTRA running shoes and then truly feel the benefit of our Footshape comfort 

Since the establishment of ALTRA, all shoes launched have delivered comfort and natural running with a combination of  zero drop and Footshape design. This combination simulates the natural running form of barefoot running to help users run with a natural gait which reduces the burden on the back and knees during running which in turn reduces the risk of injury. They help you "Stay Out There"!

We realise that people who are accustomed to wearing running shoes with a substantial drop between the heel and forefoot are cautious about moving to zero drop.

Therefore, we have developed the ALTRAFWD Experience with a 4mm heel to toe difference allowing runners who have never worn zero drop running shoes to appreciate the comfort and benefit of wearing ALTRA running shoes
